Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Workers in Longest Newspaper Strike in Decades
03/24/23 - Teamsters Local 992 Mar. 24, 2023 | STRIKES | Late on the night of March 11 outside of a distribution center on the South Side of Pittsburgh, a scab truck driver assaulted two striking workers. The strikers are members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and have been engaged in a work stoppage alongside four other unions at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since October of last year. |

Thanks to the combined efforts of many Teamster members in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, House Bill 135 concerning autonomous vehicles was defeated in the Senate Transportation Committee meeting last week. A last-ditch effort to attach the language to an unrelated bill on the Senate floor on the final day of the session was also defeated. |
