• Serves as point of contact for members regarding grievances, unfair labor practices, and monthly labor-management issues..
• Responsible for developing and filing grievances.

Firefighter, E-1-C Platoon

General Duties:

• Improve membership engagement.
• Main contact for the membership to the executive board, and point of contact for all new members.
• Assist with the Wilmington Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
• Liaison for pension-related issues

Firefighter, Ladder-1-C Platoon

General Duties:

• Serves as the Public Information Officer of the Local.
• Assist with communications to the membership and public as needed.
• Manage the Wilmington FirePAC.
• Build and foster relationships with City Council members and local politicians.
• Liaison between the Local and local civic associations.

EJ Castagna, L-1-C

Current Term: November 2022 - November 2024

General Duties:

• Responsible for ensuring work-related injuries/illnesses are addressed and handled appropriately.
• Point of contact for members regarding Worker's Compensation.
• Develop initiatives to reduce and prevent work-related injuries.
• Develop initiatives to implement health screenings for members.
